Omar “SMARTKID” Currie is a seasoned music industry professional and managing director of Smartkid Records Limited, which he founded in 2007 and upgraded to a limited company in 2023. With a passion for nurturing talent, SMARTKID has built a state-of-the-art recording studio in Portmore, Jamaica, offering top-notch audio editing, mixing, vocal recording services and more.

Starting as a singer, SMARTKID transitioned to promoting parties and eventually found his calling as a producer, recording engineer, and artiste manager.
